The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the importance of using products that support hygiene. FACH-PAK insulated containers, with their monolithic and smooth construction, minimize the accumulation of microorganisms and are easy to clean. The internal insulation, made of foamed polyethylene, prevents the absorption of external moisture and provides additional protection for the products inside.The container walls are triple-layered, offering exceptional resistance to mechanical impacts. An optional tight-fitting lid further protects the contents from external contamination.

FACH-PAK has received new molds at its factory, fulfilling orders placed in recent months. These new models will significantly expand the company’s range of insulated containers, though management emphasizes that this is only the beginning. The investment reflects both a desire to enhance the existing product line and to introduce models that were previously unavailable. It also supports the company’s export expansion, where dimensions, capacities, or other specifications differ from European standards. Serial production is scheduled to begin in May. more

All trade shows and conferences where FACH-PAK had planned to participate have been postponed or rescheduled due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. This includes major strategic events such as CFIA in France, Logimat and Interpack in Germany, Seafood Processing North America in Boston, and Seafood Processing Global in Belgium. The status of Food Pro in Melbourne, Australia, is also currently uncertain.

Recently, the FACH-PAK team participated in an exclusive training session in Arizona focused on advanced plastic labeling techniques. The program introduced a new and innovative method known as “plastic tattooing,” which ensures exceptionally durable and permanent markings. The dye chemically bonds with polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) materials, creating an irreversible reaction that makes the markings virtually indelible.  more

From March 17–19, Boston hosted another edition of the North America Seafood Expo, and FACH-PAK was once again a proud participant. This year’s event not only highlighted new opportunities for growth in the U.S. and Canadian markets but also provided a chance to review the company’s achievements in North America.The results on the East Coast have met expectations, prompting FACH-PAK to expand its focus to the West Coast- from Los Angeles up to Alaska. In this region, the company’s flagship product, the insulated 660 container, is already widely used. more

In just a few days, Boston will host the next edition of the North America Seafood Expo. FACH-PAK will once again be participating in this premier annual event, the largest of its kind in the U.S., where leading suppliers and customers from the seafood processing sector come together. PACK EXPO is the largest North American trade show dedicated to the industrial packaging and logistics market. From October 14–17, 2018, manufacturers, suppliers, and industry specialists from across the Americas visited McCormick Place in Chicago to explore the latest innovations in industrial packaging. This year’s largest North American trade show for the seafood processing industry proved to be an outstanding success. Both the event and our booth attracted a record number of visitors .Particular attention was drawn to FACH-PAK’s new line of packaging solutions for seafood processors, including hygienic pallets and pallet boxes, insulated containers, bins, and Boxlifter tippers. Seafood Expo North America in Boston also provided an excellent opportunity to celebrate the first anniversary of FACH-PAK’s U.S. operations and to outline the company’s key priorities for the future. Adding to the excitement, the show marked the introduction of David Roberts as FACH-PAK’s new Head of Sales for the U.S. market. Roberts brings extensive experience in the transport and storage packaging sector, strengthening the company’s ability to serve customers across North America. more

 At the start of October, FACH-PAK introduced its new line of plastic pallet boxes measuring 40" x 48" x 31", available in both vented and solid-wall versions. The new Big-Box is made from food-grade HDPE approved for direct contact with food products. Customers will be able to choose between models with three runners, four feet, or four casters, depending on their operational needs. Custom colors and product branding are also available, along with a compatible snap-on lid.  more
